Facial Recognition

Facial recognition systems process images or video to detect a face, extract measurable facial features, and create a numerical representation known as a facial template or embedding. This representation can then be compared with stored facial data to verify a person’s identity or search for potential matches within a database.

Facial recognition can automate identity verification and authentication in situations where speed and convenience are important.
